Description
Characteristics
Thoraco-lumbosacral bivalve corset consisting of a high-density thermoformed polyethylene rear plate with paravertebral reinforcement ribs, positioned between two thick metal stays to offer greater stabilisation and thoraco-lumbar immobilisation. Removable and mouldable using a hot air gun. The front plate, also removable, is made from low-density polyethylene and has a bellows shape to adapt to any type of abdomen. It incorporates two mid-lateral metal stays, which can be removed for adaptation. The brace is made from highly durable and breathable 3D fabric, with inner cotton padding to ensure comfort when it comes into contact with the skin. Its padded straps activate shoulder retropulsion, thereby freeing the underarm area. With micro-hook crocodile closures, they can be trimmed to fit the patient’s anatomy. The posterior structure overlaps laterally on the anterior structure, closing the orthosis securely through a micro-hook. The four elastic anteroposterior adjustment straps, combined with the exclusive buckles system Self-ATB system, enable the tension to be distributed evenly while facilitating adjustment. Easy to fit, even for post-surgical and bed-ridden patients. The intra-abdominal pressure exerted by the structure of the PRIMSPINE Focusbrace corrects hyperlordosis by achieving a high degree of thoraco-lumbar stabilisation, immobilisation and unloading.
Indications
Spinal disc herniation, osteoporosis, spondyloarthrosis, spondylolysis (with or without stability), trauma, compression fractures, degenerative disc disease, postoperative fusion, chronic muscle disease and prevention of canal stenosis in bedridden patients.
