HIP ABDUCTION ORTHOSIS
Characteristics
Girdle-shaped pelvic band, with stabilising lumbar support and tensioners to adjust compression.
Divided into 3 sections, in order to facilitate fitting for bed-bound patients.
Removable protective padding adds comfort and distributes pressure.
Bivalve thigh cuff with condylar support controls the leg’s internal rotation and retraction by bringing it to external rotation.
Indications
post hip surgery. Replacement or repair of total hip prosthesis. Hip dislocation.
Fractures associated with hip replacement. Instability of the hip joint. Osteoporosis. Loosening of hip endoprostheses. Moderate to severe coxarthrosis.
Waist circumference range:60 a 140 cm
Thigh circumference range: 40 a 65 cm
